About Us.
Leading Knowledge Mining and Sensitivity Analysis Technologies for the Mac.
KnowledgeMiner Software is a privately held company founded in 1993 in Berlin, Germany. The company is active in research, development and application of unique self-organizing knowledge extraction from data technologies for modeling, forecasting and analysis of complex systems under incomplete a priori knowledge.

We are passionate about developing high-quality, cutting-edge, knowledge mining software tools which add value to our customers' fields as well as to society in general. We believe that self-organizing knowledge mining technologies will play an important role in better understanding complex phenomena and in detecting future developments of systems and processes in a clearer and more sophisticated way.

The aim of the company’s new business field Geoforecasting is the development and commercialization of applications, products and services for modeling and forecasting of globally relevant problems in energy, climate, oceanography, water supply and agriculture.

KnowledgeMiner Insights GMDH software

The company is the developer of the distinguished Insights and Ockham knowledge mining and sensitivity analysis software tools for the Mac. They implement outstanding sets of parallel algorithms for modeling and validation of real-world systems to allow knowledge mining and global sensitivity analysis from noisy high-dimensional data in a most objective, automated, easy, and fast way.

KnowledgeMiner contributed to modeling and prediction of toxicological and eco-toxicological hazards of chemical compounds from experimental data for regulatory

purposes within REACH1 to minimize animal tests and participated in three international research projects funded by the European Union related to QSAR modeling and model evaluation2.

Other major fields of activity have been climate change related modeling and prediction problems, probabilistic energy forecasting, sales and demand predictions, and macro-economic forecasting.
